The average adult laughs 17 times a day while a child laughs 300 times a day. Jesus tells us to become like little children and put on the armor of joy. Laughter is our medicine.
Matt. 18:1 1At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? 2And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Ps. 126:1 1{A Song of degrees.} When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. 2Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. 3The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

Ps. 2:1 1Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, 3Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

Ps. 59:6 6They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city. 7Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear? 8But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision. 9Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.

Neh. 8:9 9And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep.
