Hope is the expectation of something happening. God wants to fulfill our hopes. When our hope is fulfilled it is a tree of life. Joy comes to us because that thing we have longed waited for has come to pass.

Prov. 13:12 12Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
Joy is a fruit from the tree of life. We receive joy when our hope is fulfilled
Ps. 126:1 1{A Song of degrees.} When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. 2Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. 3The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
Gen. 21:5 5And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him. 6And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.
Rom 4:17 17(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. 18Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
